The Item Configurator offers users virtually unlimited configuration options for items, based on parameters defined by either the customer or a PTA employee. This solution allows sales representatives to perform complex calculations using simple inputs, automatically generating the required items, bills of materials, and routing information.

By leveraging variants, formulas, rules, dynamic text formulas, and item selection, the configure-to-order process is streamlined—reducing a task that once took hours to just minutes.

Integrated with Dynamics 365 Business Central, the system also provides complete component and pricing calculations, using both contractual agreements and historical data.
